A Diagnosis- First Approach
Each treatment plan is customized to the patient’s unique needs.
After diagnosis, treatment plans could include:
Virtual PT
Home Excercise
Patient Education
Medication RX
Imaging
In-Person PT
Non-OP Sports MD
Orthopedic Surgeon
Diagnosis
Virtual Physical Therapy
When virtual physical therapy is indicated, ViewFi patients complete a comprehensive virtual physical therapy evaluation with a doctor of physical therapy, who will create an individualized treatment program specifically for them. The patient and PT continue to meet regularly as they progress towards their treatment goals and the PT modifies their program to reflect this.
Home Excercise
As appropriate, patients will be given a virtual home exercise program to help them address their specific needs. These exercises can help speed up the healing of certain minor conditions.
Patient Education
Patient education is a cornerstone of orthopedic care. We equip our patients with patient education materials to help them understand how to manage their condition, and how to prevent future issues from arising.
Medication RX
If needed, patients can have medications called into their local pharmacy. We do not prescribe opioids.
Imaging
If needed, patients will receive an imaging order to be completed at a local imaging facility. After the imaging is completed, the patient’s imaging is uploaded into ViewFi for their physician to review.
In-Person PT
If needed, patients will receive a prescription for in-person physical therapy to be completed at a trusted PT provider within their geographic location.
Non-op Sports MD
If a patient’s diagnosis calls for an in-person intervention (such as injections) patients will receive a referral to a trusted non-operative sports medicine physician in their area.
Orthopedic Surgeon
Sometimes, conservative treatment has been exhausted, or is not indicated for a certain condition. If a patient is best suited with a surgical intervention, patients will receive a referral to a trusted orthopedic surgeon in their area. Each treatment plan is customized to the patient’s unique needs.
